Question:
I use the Divi theme on all my sites and have discovered that everytime I try and edit the functions.php file through the dashboard > Appearance > Editor it errors out. In other words it spins for up to a minute and then says “Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP.”
I have searched the forums and really haven’t gotten any solution.
Any helps is appreciated.
Thanks

Answer:
The latest version of WordPress is 4.9.1: https://wordpress.org/download/
Would you please clarify what exactly is 5.1.2.5 on your site? Is that the version of your Divi theme? (you can see that from Appearance > Themes in your Dashboard)
Also, what is your real version of WordPress? (you can see that at the bottom of any page in your Dashboard)
